Our Beginnings
We’ve felt the heat. We’ve watched teammates go down. We've carried the stretchers. That’s why we built a better way.

Thermal Overwatch was born from experience. Keller and Josh came from different corners of the Army, but both saw the same problem: outdated tools slowing down proven lifesaving protocols. The science of "Ice-Sheeting" was clear and proven, but the gear wasn’t.

So we built "Cold Strike" - a purpose-designed cooling system that makes ice sheeting faster, smoother, more consistent. We made ice sheeting dummy-proof and mission-ready: simple to use, easy to deploy, and built to work when it matters most.

We’re veterans who lived the problem. Now we’ve built the solution.
The Founders

A former Army logistics officer and West Point graduate, Keller led sustainment operations across some of the military’s harshest environments. With a deep understanding of how to move critical resources where they’re needed most, he brings unmatched logistical expertise to Thermal Overwatch. Now earning his MBA at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Keller remains mission-focused: ensuring those on the front lines, military or athletic, have what they need, when they need it.
Josh is a former Army Special Forces Medical Sergeant (18D) with over a decade of experience treating casualties in high-stakes, high-heat environments. From combat zones to remote training ranges, he’s seen firsthand how fast heat injuries can take someone out, and how critical effective treatment is. Now pursuing his MBA at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Josh brings deep operational insight to Thermal Overwatch. His focus: making sure life-saving tools are built for the realities of the field, not just the textbook.
